Despite claiming I wouldn’t go back to being on the Fediverse, before going on to have an account on GNUSocial and then even federating this website, I now have another place to barely post amusing things.

I’ve decamped onto the beery instance of mastodon.beer at @aedeyes@mastodon.beer for posts soaked in various forms of alcohol. For good reason: I expect my offerings there to be quite picture heavy and GNUSocial doesn’t do photos particularly well. As the name suggests, .beer is running the Mastodon software setup which does do photos in a much more competent manner, including alt text descriptions and setting nice previews.

I won’t be leaving GNUSocial as I intend to post non-beer related stuff there. Feel free to follow on one, both or none of those instances. However, I still won’t be going back on Twitter.
